Five9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software, has implemented interoperability between the Five9 Virtual Contact Center (VCC) and Kuando Busylight. The solution is totally configurable in the application, so the user can set whatever color they want for a state.

The colors supported are solid or flashing in blue, green, red, or yellow. The agent states supported are logged out, ready, not ready, on call, or other, which is any state not covered by the previous states. There are also states for custom agent codes, and they can be configured in the VCC administrator tool.

With Kuando Busylight, agents, supervisors, and managers can see if an agent is available for a conversation, busy on a call, or is in after call or other work and does not want to be disturbed.

Kuando Busylight UC has plug&play compatibility with Wildix Collaboration—a web-based tool that enables simple, instant and secure communication between the employees from different offices of the company, from any location and using any device.

Can we customise Busylight colours?  

Yes, on software version 2.0+ you can customize Busylight via Registry Keys. This way you can mix the RGB colours (Red/Green/Blue) to create your own color scheme (see documentation).

Can we customise the ringtones?  

No, sorry. Busylight does not connect as an audio device to avoid conflicts with other audio devices. The ringtones are built into the device and cannot be modified.

Is Busylight UC compatible with Mac?

Busylight is not compatible with softphones on Mac, but we do have a manual color changer in the download section.

Is Busylight UC compatible with Lync Attendant Console?

No, Busylight is not compatible with the Microsoft Lync Attendant Console.

Is Busylight UC compatible with Skype for Business?

Yes, Busylight is compatible with Skype for Business, but not the free version of Skype (for consumers).

Is Busylight compatible with Cisco Jabber?

Yes, Busylight is compatible with Cisco Jabber version 11 and above.

Will I receive updates for my software?

Yes, if you register your software, we will inform you of updates that you can download free of charge.

How can I create log files for Busylight?

On software version 2.0+ we are using DebugView from Microsoft to log software issues. Please ensure that DebugView is running before you start the Busylight application to log the start-up sequence as well!

Can I have the software as .exe instead of .msi?
