Skype for Business 2016 – One common error If Busylight does not start or function correctly after Office was installed or updated (and some cases removed), it’s typically because some registry values got messed up - in particular when upgrading to Office 2016/Office365 x64. Please keep this in mind when choosing x32 over x64 of Office. Running a repair on your Microsoft Office will typically fix the broken registry entries: Go to Control panel > Programs and features > Rightclick your Microsoft Office product > Select repair > Choose Online Repair if asked and follow the guide.
