Amtelco’s IS Soft Agent and Infinity Telephone Agent has now made software available to integrate it with kuando Busylight.

You might be attracted to its light, however, the Busylight is more than a presence indicator: it is an efficiency tool, a money- and timesaver, a quality-heightener, a staff-retainer and customer-keeper. Thus, kuando Busylight is a natural addition to IS Soft Agent, giving it more value.

Amtelco Busylight

AMTELCO’s agent workstation applications support connections to USBbased status lights to visually indicate an agent’s current activity status throughout the call center. The status light interface is designed to support lights at workstations where the agent application is installed as well as at workstations that run the agent application using a terminal server connection.

Busylight Integration

Soft Agent and Infinity Telephone Agent support Plenom’s Kuando Busylightat agent workstations to indicate an agent’s status.The Busylight can be attached to any available USB port on an agent’s workstation. The integration supports both the Alpha and OmegaBusylight models.

In Soft Agent Setup, the Status Light screen is used to program a Busylightto display a color and an effect based on the agent status during call handling

Use

The Use column displayed the names of the agent statuses that can be used to trigger a status light effect. Select the check boxes next to each agent status that you want to display.

Color

The Color column is used to assign a color to each of the selected agent statuses. Use the Color control panel to select the color that you wantto display.

Note: The Kuando Busylight can only display a limited number of colors.

For the most accurate results, choose colors with Red, Green, and Bluevalues of 0 or 255. If colors with other values are selected, the light will display the closest approximation.

Effect

The Effect column is used to assign a status light effect to each of the agent statuses. Select the desired effect.

Effect Description

None Select “None” to produce a steady light effect.

Blink Select “Blink” to produce a blinking light effect.

Pulse Select “Pulse” to produce a pulsing light effect.

Test

The Test column is used to test the status light settings. Click one of the Test buttons in the Test column to test a color and effect.
