Installing both the kuando Busylight and kuandoHUB is easy and quick! Watch the video below to follow the steps for installation.
1. Open your Busylight package and plug it into your USB.
2. Download and install the kuandoHUB software or the UC platform of your choice.
3. Configure and customize your kuandoHUB settings to best fit your way of working.
Then you’re all set!
In the Colors tab, you can manually display a presence color. You can define the colors for office use or use our Busylight Zone signs on plenom.com for easy definition.
In the sounds tab, you can select a sound to play from your Busylight. This may be helpful if you need to call a supervisor for assistance.
You can assign presence colors and a sound, if desired, to keystroke combinations for quick access to change your status.
The kuandoTIMER supports your personal time management. Optimize your daily routine by organizing time slots for work and short breaks.
The Outlook Options tab allows Outlook to give you a visual and audio reminder of important events or emails. There are 3 options you can customize: Calendar Reminders, In Meeting State, and New Mail Notification.
Platform Priorities allows you to determine how the Busylight will respond when operating with multiple UC platforms and setting options.
In Advanced Settings, you can set up “Auto-Away” which will change your Busylight to “Away” yellow when your PC locks. The Timer function will allow you to change the color of the Busylight after a specified amount of time. Lastly, the HTTP and API interface section is for developers to write software for the Busylight and integrate HTTP commands.
